Occupation: CAD Technician
University/College/Trade School: University of Mississippi (BBA, MBA, JD); New York University (LL.M), Johnson County Junior College (AS) (in that order!)
1.) Tell us about your family! Here's where the bragging begins...:
The adventure began in 1994 with a wedding in St. Thomas to Jeffrey Abbas. Life got even more adventurous three years later with the birth of our twins, Eliana and Benjamin. The twins just finished their first year of college. Eliana is studying mechanical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University where she sings in a student choral group, plays club soccer and is active in the Allies organization. Benjamin is at the University of Chicago, thinking prelaw. His interests are working out, girls, and singing with Voices in Your Head, an award-winning a cappella group. And the adventure continues....
2.) What have you been up to since you last saw the RMHS gang?:
The twins were born while we were living in middle of nowhere (Coudersport), Pennsylvania, and I left my job as a corporate attorney to become a full-time mom. Twelve years later we were in Leawood, Kansas, and I made a mid-life career change: I went back to school at the local junior college, got a degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design, and began working at an engineering firm drafting drawings for railroad bridges. In the twins’ junior year, Jeff took a job in Ohio and I stayed in Kansas so the twins could finish high school. Once we got them off to college, I joined Jeff in Perrysburg, Ohio (outside Toledo). I love being just four hours from each of the kids’ colleges, so we can go hear them sing when their groups have concerts. We have a place on the Maumee River. I work from home for the same engineering company (Olsson Associates); when I take breaks from drafting, I get to watch the wildlife (deer, fox, wild turkey, eagles) in our backyard.

1.) Tell us about your family! Here's where the bragging begins...:
Legally and happily married to James. The kids are two felines (Age 11+ and 16+) named Lucy and Ricky and we are their, "Staff."
James and I have been together for over 11 years. "The Supremes" declared us constitutional June 26, 2013 and not only is it "Finally Law," but, I took his name, as well. No more identity theft, here. :-)
James has done his part by working at the NIH (National Institutes for Health) for over 20 years and continues to support medical research to ensure the public health of the nation. As for me, I'm still in the Executive Search biz -- Recruitcom.com. If you really want to see the resume, check me out on LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/in/richardnpeterson
If nothing else, read the recommendations under my profile and you will see what all the client companies and candidates are saying about my skills, knowledge and experience. All of them posted no more than 2 years ago, as I always purge the old content. If you're real bored, and you must be bored to read it, go to www.richardnpeterson.com. :-)
More than you could ever want to know and it addresses the, "Bragging…"
2.) What have you been up to since you last saw the RMHS gang?:
Traveled to 6 out of 7 Continents. And, most places folks cannot find on a Map. The most unusual? Who goes to Lome, Togo, West Africa for vacation? I do!
We were recently in Cuba last year. Long before Obama.
3.) Care to share some high school memories? Give us the best, the worst, the unforgettable... your call!:
Sharing Homecoming with my "Queen" Kym Wilson and my "Date" Missy Veronis.
Missy and I danced the night away. Just like Leo Sayer, "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing!" Except, when we were "Bumping" she yelled across the dance floor, "Rich, Can You Give Me Some Ass!" Too Much Hip Action. :-)
And, of course, I was 90 lbs.
4.) If you could send a message to another classmate, what would you say?:
What we think, we become! If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door.
5.) Anything else you'd like to share?
As I said at the 40th at La Ferme, I have only one regret in my life and you may have heard me say it before:
It was May 1st, 1975 when I stupidly said:
"Vote for me and I promise you the best Reunions ever!"
Looks like youse guys got the last laugh.
It's Been Fun--I Think!
James and I wish each & every one of you a safe and adventurous journey in the next chapter of your lives.
Travel happily and carefully.

3.) Care to share some high school memories? Give us the best, the worst, the unforgettable... your call!:
Junior high school memories-
Ze worst: the time Mark Sokalski shot a paperclip from a rubber band at me in Mr. Storey’s 8th grade science class. Boy did that burn! The time when Chris Kaiser told me I looked like Hitler.
Ze worst: in 7th grade, when Mrs. Susman, the English teacher, would sit on a stool facing the class and then turn her head toward the blackboard and then back again and again to imitate kids talking in class. I truly think she wanted to be one.
Ze best: in 8th grade, when Mr. Barnes, the art teacher, allowed me to stay an extra semester in one of his classes to make pottery and do other art work I enjoyed.
Ze best: in 8th grade, when Mrs. Render would give us a ride home after school after grading our 7th period Algebra I tests.
Ze best: when I first realized there was someone else who thought the name calling and cheap laughs had gone too far at the end of 8th grade. Thank you Kathy Cho wherever you are!
Ze unforgettable: when Bozie (not Bootsie-she was nice) ( he must have been in 9th grade-remember the jacket with BOZIE on the back) took a swing at Greg Wolfe in the hallway (drew blood on his lip) for not producing a quarter. Later I was asked, as a witness to the incident, if I knew who did it, and I replied that I didn’t know. Not a proud moment!
Ze unforgettable: bell ringing for lunch and kids running down the hallway slamming lockers trying to be the first one in line at the cafeteria (Come on man, let me cut in front of you!)
4.) If you could send a message to another classmate, what would you say?:
Depends who it is………..hello!
5.) Anything else you'd like to share?
Ze crushes: Beth Masonson, Lee Corydon, Cindy Green. They didn’t even know me, except for Beth who I ran into this past summer in Rockville.

I’ve been raising my children, working, doing community service and travelling. I’ve recently begun graduate school and I’m loving learning again.
3.) Care to share some high school memories? Give us the best, the worst, the unforgettable... your call!:
I was blessed with many great friends at RMHS. My family went through a difficult time and I’m not sure I would have made it without Silvia, Becky and Scott. I miss them dearly. I also am grateful for my many other friends to encouraged and supported me. If I had the chance to do High School over I would focus more on learning and I’d take all of my wonderful classmates with me. I remember football games, school dances, working in the school store and several classmates locking a boring Psychology teacher in a closest. That was probably at Julius West. You know who you are.
4.) If you could send a message to another classmate, what would you say?:
I thank the many classmates who were kind and who made our days fun. Many of your names come to mind, but I ‘don’t want to mention names for fear of leaving someone out. Rich, thanks for all of the work you’be put into coordinating the reunion.
5.) Anything else you'd like to share?
I’ll be moving to Williamsburg to take an HR Director position at a hospital there.

I have one daughter who just graduated from University of Delaware with a degree in Accounting and a degree in Finance. She’s moved to Hoboken, NJ and will start work for Pricewaterhouse Cooper as an auditor in August. Very proud of her! She has been studying for the CPA exam & has passed 2 of the 4 tests she has taken so far. She has the family dog with her, and lives a few blocks from her boyfriend of two years.

Name: Pat Nolan
Current Location(City, State Or Country): Dallas, Texas
Occupation: Nolan Management Co. Inc.
University/College/Trade School: U of MD.
1.) Tell us about your family! Here's where the bragging begins...:
Two Daughters, Lauren 22, Kate 18. Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude and is applying to grad schools for PA (Physician's Assistant) programs. Kate graduated HS this year and is choosing between colleges now.
2.) What have you been up to since you last saw the RMHS gang?:
Denying I am as old as I am by competing in ½ marathons and long distance bike time trials. Running my company. Trying to be a good Dad to two ‘Dad, we know, we know, stop with the lessons’ daughters.
3.) Care to share some high school memories? Give us the best, the worst, the unforgettable... your call!:
Being on the wrestling team and football teams – mediocre player at best, but made good friends. (Damage I did to my neck resulted in spinal fusion surgery 30 years later)
Shooting Mike Calantonio in the leg by accident (With a Pellet Rifle! Way better than an "AR-15."). He was so mad – I never ran so fast when he came after me! Forgive me Mike?
4.) If you could send a message to another classmate, what would you say?:
“Steve Cockley, where in the heck are you? You played a major part in my HS life but we fell out of touch.”
5.) Anything else you'd like to share?
HS was not a pleasant time for me. I was full of insecurities and lacked self confidence. “Wish I knew then what I know now”

Lisa Carvallo
Name: Lisa Beaudoin Carvallo
Current Location(City, State Or Country): Cambridge, Maryland
Occupation: Retired, but doing adjunct online teaching for Morgan State University’s Community College Leadership Doctoral Program – love those online courses!
University/College/Trade School:
Montgomery College; George Mason University (Biology); Johns Hopkins University (MBA); Morgan State University (Ed.D.)
1.) Tell us about your family! Here's where the bragging begins...:
Husband of 26 years: Miguel. Three stepchildren, 8 grandchildren
2.) What have you been up to since you last saw the RMHS gang?: Enjoying life! Retired in 2013 after 34 years at Montgomery College. We moved to Cambridge (Groove City), Maryland, right near Blackwater Wildlife Refuge, where we are able to go birding as often as we want! Trying to get back into my art – oil painting, jewelry making, watercolors mostly, but until I get a real studio that can get messy, I guess my kitchen will have to suffice. Also enjoying the many activities that Cambridge has to offer – a vibrant arts community, entertainment district, and country people who wave to us whenever we drive by! I do miss the diversity that we enjoyed at RM...
3.) Care to share some high school memories? Give us the best, the worst, the unforgettable... your call!: Since I hardly ever went to school (ha-ha) the best memories are of skipping school, driving around in my old ’57 Chevy station wagon, and of partying! Unforgettable: Being able to smoke on school property (as a lifelong educator, I have seen so many changes – and no I don’t still smoke!!!!) The worst: Getting caught!
4.) If you could send a message to another classmate, what would you say?:
Life as a teenager was not much fun. Now that we are older and wiser, take time to smell the roses. And remember that life is too short to drink cheap wine!
