A Daytime Reunion at La Ferme It Is.

Many of you were flexible and said you were willing to go with the majority, and the majority of those who responded (Over 100 of You) selected a daytime affair!
It will be bountiful, cost-effective, and festive with dancing.
The hours of the "official" gig are 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an open bar, Hors d'oeuvres, 3 course menu, and wine with lunch. Parking included!
The weekend festivities will begin Friday evening at Urban Heights for the Cocktail Party in nearby Downtown Bethesda. A Philippine and Southeast Asian Restaurant, where there is a Happy Hour until closing and live music on Friday nights. So, pay as you go and enjoy yourself.

A year and a half ago, Mark Gross re-connected with us, as he left us after 9th Grade and graduated from WJ. He'll be joining us tomorrow at Homecoming against WJ.

Mark has generously opened up his lovely home to us (as pictured above) following the Reunion, and it's only 4 miles away from La Ferme. Details and Directions will follow.
During the After Party, we will be treated by "Washington Improv Theatre," an improvisational and sketch comedy theatre company that has been entertaining audiences for over 16 years.
On Sunday, we will return to the "Traditional Picnic" at Seneca State Park with all the fixings including Beer from 12Noon-4pm.
So, as you can see, it's going to be quite an Extraordinary 3 Day Fab 40 Weekend!

So, what's the price for all of this fun? With more surprises in store? In keeping with the spirit of the introduction of the event last month, it will be $107.00.
Yes, we're sitting on the $100 previously stated. However, I did say, "Do not hold me to the dollar on these ticket prices because I have a whole lot more math to do. I'm coming to the table with a broad stroke number!"
Folks...reunions, like any event, are expensive.
In addition to high end restaurant facilities, there are other costs: picnic park and alcohol permit fees, picnic food, drink and beer, administrative fees (email marketing like this pretty communication piece), response tracking, reporting metrics, website management, PayPal fees, banking, postage, printing, giveaways, and loads more.
As a matter of fact, as of today, the permits for the picnic have been paid for and ordered. See how busy we are 1 year out!
We attempted to reduce the prices for spouses, but it's just not feasible. We tried! We're already close to being in trouble.
Memory Book details to follow much later, in a separate email. Start thinking about what you want to share. Gather up those current photos.
Historically, folks do not come to reunions because they feel they don't, "measure up."
Please lose that notion! It's not a contest. Over the past 40 years, I've talked dozens of classmates into attending events and in every case, they have profusely thanked me for convincing them to join us, as they had a fabulous time.
It's About Remembering Shared Experiences At One Time.
